Easter

We had a fun filled saturday before Easter day starting with the Easter Bunny visiting our house with a few things and the participating in 3 Easter Egg Hunts. 

Sorry so long between posts

We had some camera issues.  First my battery charger died so I ordered a new one and then thought, huh, I should buy an extra battery too.  Glad I did as my battery was dead too.  I now have a working camera.  Yea Me!  We used Lizzie's camera while mine was out of commission, but hers is having issues with connecting with the cord so it can download the pictures to the computer.  I finally took her memory card to the store and had a cd made. :)

It has been a very busy month of April and now into May.  I'm crazy I know, but I ended up with Caleb playing and still playing until middle of next month, competition soccer so he is playing 2 times a week with practices 2 times a week as well as refereeing recreation soccer games to get some money in his pockets.  Liz, Justin & Tabi have been playing rec. soccer with 2 games each a week and a practice here and there.  Ben started baseball with 2 games a week too, 2 weeks ago.  Yikes!  It's a busy time for Bob as he has been busy attending various graduations in the state as well as lots of extra meetings lately so during the week it has been pretty crazy for mom.  LOL  By the end of June when baseball is over I will be going on vacation in my room on my bed reading a book with the door closed. :) 

The Drive Home

Less than 7 hours later we were in the car on the 12 hour drive back home.  The kids didn't get their homework done that mom had so diligently and quite sneakingly gotten from their teachers the week before we left, but they did enjoy their big suckers and lots of movies. :)

Friday

We did a really full day!  We start out being at Disneyland at 8:30.  We did a little hopping between the 2 disney parks and didn't get back to the house until after 11 pm that night.  Needless to say we were all exhausted.

The Beach

Well, we are definitely not CA natives.  They were all in pants and jackets while 4 of my kids got wet playing in the ocean.

California Adventure

We went the California Adventure part of Disney on Wednesday from opening to closing.  My daring kids went on just about everything they could including Tabi doing the Tower of Terror.  When it closed, we went back over to the regular park and did a few more ride and watched the closing fireworks.

Surprise!!!!

Bob and Tracy decided to take pity on the kids and take them to Disneyland for the first time!  We thought it would be more fun if they didn't know about it ahead of time, sooo monday morning at 4:30 am we came in Caleb's and Lizzie's  rooms first armed with the video camera to tell them they had 30 mins to change, get their backpacks ready (stuff to do in the car) and get in the car.  We then told the boys and of course by then Tabi heard us up and was getting out of bed when we came into her room.  By 5:30 am we were on the road!  Tracy was able to pack the kid's clothes and hide the trip food they week before.  We had a great time!  We spent tuesday in Disneyland park from 9-9.
