The Drive Home

Less than 7 hours later we were in the car on the 12 hour drive back home.  The kids didn't get their homework done that mom had so diligently and quite sneakingly gotten from their teachers the week before we left, but they did enjoy their big suckers and lots of movies. :)

Friday

We did a really full day!  We start out being at Disneyland at 8:30.  We did a little hopping between the 2 disney parks and didn't get back to the house until after 11 pm that night.  Needless to say we were all exhausted.

The Beach

Well, we are definitely not CA natives.  They were all in pants and jackets while 4 of my kids got wet playing in the ocean.

California Adventure

We went the California Adventure part of Disney on Wednesday from opening to closing.  My daring kids went on just about everything they could including Tabi doing the Tower of Terror.  When it closed, we went back over to the regular park and did a few more ride and watched the closing fireworks.

Surprise!!!!

Bob and Tracy decided to take pity on the kids and take them to Disneyland for the first time!  We thought it would be more fun if they didn't know about it ahead of time, sooo monday morning at 4:30 am we came in Caleb's and Lizzie's  rooms first armed with the video camera to tell them they had 30 mins to change, get their backpacks ready (stuff to do in the car) and get in the car.  We then told the boys and of course by then Tabi heard us up and was getting out of bed when we came into her room.  By 5:30 am we were on the road!  Tracy was able to pack the kid's clothes and hide the trip food they week before.  We had a great time!  We spent tuesday in Disneyland park from 9-9. 

Etiquette Dance

The middle school had an Etiquette Dance the day before Valentines.  They learned a few dances like waltz, swing, cha cha, electric slide, etc.  Here are some shots from the dance.

Ben's Bday

He had a pizza cake top and we let him enjoy his present, a ripstick a day early since his bday was on Sunday.

Dancing Kids

Justin and Tabi decided to dance on the drive way one day to try and earn a little money.  They didn't get any but it didn't stop them from having a great time.

Lizzie's 12th Bday

Liz had a great birthday & was very excited to start attending Young Womens.  Here are some pictures of her big day and getting to attend the temple for the first time to do Baptisms for the Dead the first day the temple was open after she turned 12.
