The motorhome!

One of Bob's friends at work graciously let us borrow his motorhome for our trip. We crammed 7 people in a 6 person max rig as well as our puppy. We had a great time in it, but it didn't come without it's adventures.

About 100 miles after we passed Great Falls, Montana, Bob suggest that I drive so he could catch up on some emails. Well all of a sudden I here this tear and I immediately know that it was the door on the motorhome. We had been having a tough time with it all trip as it just would not close right. Bob even took it part of it apart to add some more screws so it would hang better and close correctly. We had to slam it shut and even then it didn't want to work half the time.
Bob walking back to the motorhome with the outside piece of the door that tore off.

We had to tie rope and a really thin elastic cord around the door to keep the insolation from blowing away when the duct tape wouldn't stick.

After leaving Waterton we decided to head to Yellow Stone because the kids had never been and it had been a really long time since Bob and I had been, like I was in 5th grade. That drive to Yellow Stone drug on forever! It was to be a nice 8 hr drive that took us over 13 hrs. The door blew off, we kept having to stop and fix it, the hazard lights and blinkers when out and then we couldn't find a place to stay the night went we pulled into West Yellow Stone. Everything was FULL FULL FULL! We finally did find a place on our way out to Idaho. Whew! By then we were all tired, exhausted and stressed as the motorhome was now having some issues with gas. YIKES!

We still had a great time!
