At the charter school they don't call it Valentine's Day, it is called Etiquette Day. They can share valentines and do have some of that theme, but the focus is more on learning etiquette skills with some fun and food.
The middle school did a dance with dance cards as well as learning dances such as waltz, cha cha, etc. I ran in and caught Liz in between dances (in the turquoise and black).
I helped out in Ben's class and as a fun activity, the head classroom thought it would great to watch the Napoleon Dynamite dance than have a dance trying to copy it boys against the girls. Ben was way into it and so he tucked in his shirt and had a blast.
Got a quick hot in Justin's class, just before it was time to leave.
Tabi had a great time reviewing how to set a table correctly, exchanging valentines, making a heart wreath and a hand valentine for mom & dad.
